Working from our Vancouver office the successful applicant will be responsible to support the learning activities for our broker partners, resulting in stronger relationships with the company and fostering new business growth. Particular focus will be on technology training.
Responsibilities will include: • Conduct or arrange corporately designed programs across Western Canada on Gore Mutual products and services. • Assist in the development and design of broker training programs. • Identify training needs based on projected production processes, changes, and other factors. • Develop and organize training manuals, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials. • Plan, develop, and provide training, using knowledge of the effectiveness of methods such as classroom training, demonstrations, on-the-job training, meetings, conferences, and workshops. • Analyze training needs to develop new training programs or modify and improve existing programs. • Consult with corporate stakeholders and committee members on various projects as assigned • Support education strategy and project roll-outs as required.
Requirements of the role include: • University or college graduate. • Training/education certification and experience an asset. • Training program development skills an asset. • Excellent presentation and verbal communication skills. • Experience in property & casualty insurance an asset. • Strong computer skills. • Demonstrated ability to manage time, work independently, be flexible and be a strong team member. • Significant travel is required in Western Canada.
