Job Description
InsuranceWorks.com Inc. is in the business of providing online recruitment tools to niche industries across the continent. We are seeking an experienced sales professional to drive B2B sales of online recruitment tools with the goal of increasing revenue. If you are an action-oriented sales person with the talent to close a sale via telephone, and the professional presentation and confidence to make client sales calls when needed, we would like to see your resume. The ideal candidate will also understand web usability and how online business is conducted.
Job Responsibilities
Sales and Revenue Generation
The main crux of this position is to connect with industry hiring managers, HR professionals, business owners, etc. to sell online recruiting solutions.
• Manage revenue growth for online jobsites by being responsible for meeting monthly sales targets for online recruiting services, ad options, special events etc.
•Conduct B2B sales over the phone and via client site visits when necessary
•Work as part of a team to develop and launch new sources of revenue and online recruitment products
• Provide sales support to end users on all sites.
Website Service Administration
As part of the team, you will also be responsible for ensuring the smooth running and development of our jobsites to provide an exceptional user experience and ROI for Employers/Recruiters across the continent.
• Ensure maintenance of existing websites and applications
• Liaise with development partners regarding new product development projects
• Troubleshoot and address website interruptions
• Manage digital marketing initiatives – including social media campaigns, mobile marketing campaigns, search marketing, etc.
• Research and evaluate competitors’ search, mobile, social media marketing efforts, etc.
• Maintain PPC campaigns on Google Adwords, Yahoo search marketing, MSN adcenter etc.
• Search engine and directory submissions when needed
• Strategic link building development
• Keep online adverts up-to-date
• Assust the team in finding new and maximizing Search Engine Optimization strategies to improve traffic and search engine positions for all sites
• Co-ordination of ad-hoc projects/developments and initiatives
• Attend industry conferences and special events to promote online recruitment services on a national basis
• Provide ongoing technical support to end users

Qualifications
• Approximately 5-10 years of B2B sales, preferrably of online services.
• Desire and ability to make sales calls to clients, both warm and cold, to grow sales.
• Competent understanding of web usability.

• Understanding of e-commerce marketing including e-mail marketing campaigns, social media, technology, search engine optimization, PPC and Aggregators is an asset.
• Good understanding of digital content management and web technologies.
• Understanding of and use of analytical tools (Google Analytics etc).
• Proactive and creative approach to development and problem solving.
• Experience in attending industry conferences and manning conference booths is considered an asset but applicants who don't have such experience will not be turned away.
• University or college education, or the equivalent.
• Proficiency in French is desirable but not a requirement.
