Job Description

Reporting to the AVP, Trucking & Commercial Auto, the Underwriting Clerk, Commercial Auto primarily has a supporting role with the underwriting team.

Key accountabilities and responsibilities:

  • Manages emails daily and responding to inquiries in the shared inbox
  • Provides administrative support
  • Processes GIS conversions (takes data from RTM system and converts to GIS system)
  • Enters taxi policies and endorsements into our database

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma
  • Interest in the CIP program
  • 1-3 years in a similar domain
  • Strong keyboarding skills
  • General knowledge of Microsoft applications – Word and Excel
  • Good oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Able to perform in a highly structured and detail oriented environment
  • Ability to effectively time manage to meet department deadlines
  • Bilingual, French and English (basic English)
