I am working with a progressive Transportation Insurance Brokerage looking to add to their team. My client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Account Manager. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, proficiency with computers (preferably Mac), and excellent written communication abilities. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing the owner's book, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all client interactions.
Title: Commercial Account Manager – Transportation
Location: Waterloo ON
Requirements:
- RIBO license in good standing
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency with computers, preferably Mac systems
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Basic Excel skills with the ability to perform data analysis
- Previous experience in transportation insurance is ideal but not required
- Professional demeanor and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
Responsibilities:
- Manage client accounts, ensuring prompt and accurate responses to inquiries and requests
- Communicate effectively with clients, understanding their needs and providing appropriate solutions
- Utilize Excel for basic functions and maintaining accuracy in all calculations
- Maintain organized records of client interactions and transactions
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service delivery
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulations relevant to transportation insurance
