Our client is looking for an experienced collections manager to join their team! The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years’ collections experience in a fast-paced corporate environment, and prior experience in insurance industry is an asset.
Location: Remote in BC
Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to:
- Analyzing collections processes, centralizing, identifying, and implementing improvements
- Collecting on outstanding invoices in accordance with set procedures, standards, and performance metrics
- Establishing and maintaining procedures for monitoring both receivables and payable remittances
- Liaising with the Accounting team on various programs, bordereaux, and other Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable reconciliations
- Collaborating with department managers to oversee the development of workflow systems designed to effectively and efficiently manage Collections Team workload
Requirements:
- 5 years+ collections experience in a fast-paced corporate administrative/account role
- Prior insurance industry experience is an asset
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Team player with excellent communication and management skills
