Who You Are…

You are a dedicated insurance professional with a minimum of one to two years of experience in commercial insurance. If you are keen to work for a brokerage with an entrepreneurial spirit and an effective and progressive leadership team look no further.

We are looking for someone with a positive attitude and terrific work ethic to join our client’s team as a Commercial Account Associate. This role works alongside the Account Executives and Account Managers to help provide exceptional service to clients.

Your duties will be to;

  • Ensure all client and insurer correspondence is accurate and flows in an efficient manner.
  • Prepare submissions, client proposals, and maintain appropriate documentation
  • Process binders, invoices, certificates of insurance and other documentation as required.
  • Respond to telephone calls and written inquiries from clients and underwriters in a timely and professional manner.
  • Create abeyances and advise team members of follows up for outstanding items from underwriters, marketers and clients.
  • Follow up for outstanding items from underwriters, clients and insurers

You must possess;

At least an active Level 1 insurance license – Level 2 would be preferred

1-3 years commercial insurance experience. Will consider those with personal lines experience and a Level 2 license.  

Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize work flow

Highly effective communication skills, both verbal and written

Exceptional listening skills, and able to relay information in a way that is easy to understand

Ability to work under pressure, both independently and within a collaborative team

An interest in personal development and eagerness to learn new things

An infectious, positive attitude with a desire to collaborate with those around you.
