Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The duties and responsibilities outlined below are representative but not all-inclusive:

  • Sales and Revenue Generation
    • The main crux of this position is to connect with sector hiring managers, HR professionals, business owners, etc. to sell online recruiting solutions
  • Manage revenue growth for online jobsites by being responsible for meeting monthly sales targets for online recruiting services, ad options, special events, and etc
  • Conduct B2B sales over the phone for the Canadian and American insurance market, nonprofit industry and financial sector, and launch new sources of revenue and online recruitment products
  • Respond to customer inquiries and emails about online and enhanced services
  • Updates company LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook accounts by posting daily social media/job posts
  • Create and distribute monthly e-newsletter campaigns (Job Seeker and Employer newsletters)
  • Attend industry conferences and special events to promote online recruitment services on a national basis
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of B2B sales, preferably of online services
  • University or college education, or the equivalent
  • Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types
  • Good understanding of digital content management and web/mobile technologies
  • Proactive and creative approach to development and problem solving
  • Understanding of e-commerce marketing including e-mail marketing campaigns, social media, technology, search engine optimization, PPC and Aggregators is an asset
  • Proficiency in French is an asset
  • Knowledge of either the American insurance market or the Canadian non-profit sector or financial sector would be advantageous
