Title: Accounting and Finance

Location: Oakville

Responsibilities

  • account/bank reconciliations
  • preparation of journal entries
  • issuing and receiving payments
  • issuing payroll 
  • benefits administration
  • Retail Sales Tax
  • monthly closings and preparation of monthly statements
  • administer accounts receivable
  • other accounting and admin tasks as required

Education and Experience

  • 5+ years experience working for an insurance brokerage
  • post-secondary degree/diploma in accounting and pursuing CPA designation an asset
  • Experience with TAM is an asset
  • technical accounting skills
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • experience in a multi-office setting
  • insurance experience is an asset
