We are looking for a natural leader who understands the value of providing genuine, customer centric service, has solid experience negotiating and mitigating accident and benefit claims and a track record of modeling coaching skills and maximizing team performance.



  • Lead a team of accident and benefit claims handlers as they navigate options that contribute to solutions
  • Provide direction, guidance, training and technical advice to aid in the development of ClaimCare advisors and exceptional customer service
  • Identifies and addresses barriers to effective team work



  • Communicate department objectives and motivate team towards meeting and exceeding customer service standards
  • Identifies and analyses opportunities for innovation and collaboration


Required Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years disability claims handling experience
  • Prior leadership experience is preferred
  • Prior handling of CAT AB claims is required
  • University or College degree or equivalent experience is required
  • CIP/FCIP/CRM required or in progress
  • Proficient in Microsoft office products
  • Strong analytical, organization and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective negotiation skills
