Our client in Oakville is looking for an experience Personal Lines Inside sales candidate to join their team. This is a Salary + commission position and will provide benefits for employees.

Personal Lines Inside Sales

  • Access the risk and place with the correct market
  • Understand autoplus and motor vehicle reports
  • Knowledge in standard and non-standard automobile and property risks
  • Counsel clients and guide them through the new business process
  • Charge broker fee to new applications when applicable
  • Proficient in computer skills, including Power Broker, CQ, MS Word, MVR, Auto Plus Hits, EZitv and outlook
  • Handle inbound sales calls from multiple sources
  • Works in conjunction with their sales assistant
  • Provides quotes, collects and confirms driving and/or property details
  • Responsible for answering any inquiries from insurers
  • Provides coverage for mobile phone 1 every five weeks from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. setting up scheduled time to quote external prospects.  During the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. the scheduling of appointments for quotes is managed by the receptionist.  The mobile phone is kept with the producer for one week starting Monday and ends Sunday.   We do not provide mobile scheduling for quotes during vacation or statutory vacations.
