Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • examining senior claims including interpreting coverage
  • setting appropriate reserves
  • investigating and making liability determinations
  • assessing damages,
  • directing independent adjusters and legal counsel
  • identifying risk management issues and reporting to insurers 

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of related experience with strong emphasis on casualty claims handling and claims in litigation
  • CIP or equivalent experience
  • excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • superior negotiation skills
  • strong decision making ability
