Title: VIP Account Manager

Location: Oakville


  • Manage and retain a book of business
  • Advise client on matters of coverage and pricing, and place risk with the appropriate market
  • Cross sell and up-sell in order to increase size of book
  • Assist existing clients with new insurance requirements
  • Act as trusted advisor for all VIP clients
  • Respond to all enquired in a professional manner
  • Develop exceptional relationships with clients
  • Work well with your team of producers and account administrators
  • Contact client to advise of any changes in the market or to their policies
  • Advocate for your client to the insurance carriers
  • Prepare renewal reports, conduct client meetings and make appropriate recommendations for improvement
  • Ensure information is correct and coverage still meets clients’ needs
  • Remarket policies when applicable
  • Attend onsite appraisals
  • Order reports
  • Attend company functions
  • Communicate with Underwriters


  • RIBO licensed
  • 2 + years of VIP personal lines experience
  • Strong knowledge of VIP markets
  • Good communicator and ability to build strong relationships both internal and external
  • Willingness to drive to clients as needed
  • TAM experience is nice to have
  • Self-motivated and ability to manage time effectively
