We are looking for a conscientious individual who is experienced, detail-oriented and organized, to join our Commercial Insurance Team in Mississauga.
If you are a RIBO licensed broker with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills this position may just be right for you.
You’ll have to be adaptable, able to multi-task and complete assigned work items in a timely manner. Our busy staff are friendly, professional, and ready to welcome another player to the team.
This position requires an individual who is knowledgeable and experienced in handling Commercial Property & Casualty Risks and Auto accounts of various sizes.
You will be responsible for account management on our full book of Commercial Business in accordance with our company standards. Duties may include completing and issuing Certificates of Insurance; transacting endorsements and invoicing policies; conducting thorough reviews of commercial property policies; advising clients on risk management and mitigation; and accessing company portals.
In this role we expect you to manage a busy call volume as well as service requests received by email. You will be expected to process assigned work promptly and accurately as well as maintain knowledge of company and industry underwriting policies, procedures, and standards. You must be a strong communicator You will review new business in addition to conducting renewal reviews and possible re-marketing. You may also assist producers with their inquiries and on new business development.
Our ideal candidate must hold a RIBO license in good standing and be familiar with Power Broker. It is imperative that you can communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and in written English. Proficiency in Microsoft products including Word and Outlook, is also preferred.
