Position Summary:

HUB Capital Inc., is seeking a strong Investment Product Administrator for a 1 year contract role working in our Woodbridge, ON office. The purpose of this position is to provide administrative support and process Investment business for advisors. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the investment fund industry, high attention to detail, proven accuracy and solid data entry processing experience, paired with strong customer service skills and a team player attitude.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for all investment advisors and ensure all investment inquiries for Mutual Funds and Segregated Funds are handled in a timely manner

  • Process incoming mutual and segregated fund trades. This includes new account opening, non-financial trades and investment transfers

  • Follow - up on business transactions, data entry, account updates, account openings and process transfers

  • Ensuring transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner

  • Identify and correct transaction errors as required

  • Liaise with carriers and fund companies on behalf of the advisors

  • Performs other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications & Required Experience:

  • Post-Secondary education

  • Investment industry related experience

  • Previous administrative, data entry, processing experience

  • Proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally

  • Strong attention to detail, thorough problem-solving skills, exceptional good time management skills
