Case Manager (High Networth Clients)

Position Profile 

Coordinate and manage new business cases for life insurance, including application preparation and submission, seeking underwriting & pricing decisions, follow-up with medical and insurance teams and liaise with advisors for efficient, prompt completion of all tasks.

Responsible for delivering the best possible outcome and efficient case coordination for very large case and multi-policy families. Assist and support our clients and do what is needed to guide the client through an exceptional experience. Work with deep coordination with our team to deliver superior results.

Duties & Responsibilities 


Obtain the best outcome and decision for our clients, and support clients through the new business process. As part of a strongly coordinated team complete the new business process meticulously and efficiently.

Manage every step of the process, including related activities with the team, insurance providers, clients, advisors, underwriters, medical examiners as needed. Provide regular progress reporting and be relentless in following up and completing requirements.

Work directly with clients, advisors, insurers, and other interested parties to resolve problems, accelerate priorities. Work directly with advisors to provide support and ensure impeccable preparation for client interaction. For complex or problematic cases offer options and solutions and take leadership to obtain solutions.

Drive activities to tight deadlines. Review schedules and meetings to anticipate and deliver the documents, forms, and reports that are needed. Collaborate with advisors and the internal team to ensure that every client experience is extraordinary.

Be a knowledgeable resource to resolve challenges. Act as backup to other team members. Keep data accurate including activity logs, action items, tasks, requests, static data, policy data, etc.

Participate in projects and seek improvements in service excellence and efficiency. Assist with administrative duties as needed and support your colleagues.

Qualifications & Experience


5+ years’ experience coordinating and managing new business activities and placing life insurance cases, including packaging for underwriting of jumbo / multi-policy, and complicated situations for insured families. Experience working in an independent multi-carrier environment is desirable.

Excellent knowledge of life insurance products from the major carriers.  

Experience working directly with advisors and the clients, anticipate and mitigate potential problems, meticulous follow-up and completion, strong negotiating skills, strong collaborative team approach as part of a multi-disciplinary team focused on delivering superior results.

Strong, demonstrable working experience of the case management processes, an understanding of insurance and medical terminology, ability to advocate on behalf of our clients, demonstrated ability to work with underwriters, medical offices, and issuers to seek the best outcome for clients.

Excellent MS Office skills, particular expertise with Excel. SalesForce / CRM knowledge is a plus. Strong writing and communication skills, meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
