Our client is looking to add a an experienced and outgoing Commercial Account Executive to their team. This individual must be self motivated, have a strong working knowledge of commercial insurance and a flare for sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering continuous excellence to customers
  • Identifying specific client and prospect needs
  • Reviewing and revising insurance programs with clients to ensure appropriate coverage
  • Cross selling and expanding the existing insurance programs
  • Producing new business

About You:

Your customer service skills are legendary. People are instantly at ease knowing you are there for them. You have been helping customers acquire insurance for so long sometimes you dream about it. You are equally as adept at solving your own problems as you are at solving those of others. You communicate so effectively that you have at times wondered if you could read minds. Computers are your best friend, there isn’t an application that has ever stumped you. You’re attention to detail is so acute that you were uncomfortable that with the two grammatical errors in this sentence. You work well with others even when you wish that the others didn’t work with you. You work equally as well without others. Deadlines can’t scare you because time management is your middle name. You are proud of your accomplishments but are never satisfied.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Insurance industry experience
  • BC General License Level 2 is required
  • Mid-market commercial accounts with focus on Construction, or Indigenous Sector, or Public Sector accounts is preferred
