Job Description

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Provide junior underwriting support to the underwriting team
  • review quote and bind new and renewal submission
  • issue policy documentation, review for accuracy
  • review, calculate and approve/ bind mid-term endorsement
  • Provides a full range of administrative support to the team
  • Data entry of new business and renewals, coding of business
  • Ensure E-filing, data entry and report production is current
  • Other duties as required


Skills, Education, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Must possess a minimum of 1 years related experience in an office environment - ideal if MGA 
  • attention to detail
  • must possess RIBO
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and well developed interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently or within a team-based environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities
  • Possess keen attention to detail and an ability to effectively prioritize duties and multi-task
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude and willingness to assist others
  • Possess a strong work ethic
  • Proficient in the use of computer applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
