Job Description
- Building and maintaining relationships with professional counterparts at client organizations;
- Initiating key strategic tools: (i.e. Benchmarking Reports; Loss History / Coverage Analysis);
- Maintaining a fluency in the Company’s various service offerings and market trends to enrich work performed and develop sales capabilities;
- Hosting client and insurer meetings in conjunction with specialist brokers and client service teams;
- Striving to provide market-leading service and solutions for all clients;
- Managing the efficient and timely collection of all receivables;
- Conducting Policy Reviews (2nd Review);
- Coordinating, training and supervising the activities of other team members;
- Communicating with team members’ regarding performance, task accomplishment, and direction;
-Leading and mentoring junior brokers and staff;
-Supporting a team approach to provide our clients with favourable claims management solutions;
-Training new hires with respect to set standard procedures, product knowledge, insurer’s target classes;
This job might be right for you if you:
- Have over 10 years of insurance brokering experience;
- Possess a valid RIBO (Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario) License;
- Thrive on paying attention to details, and work well under the pressure of deadlines and multiple priorities;
- Are focused and motivated to execute your responsibilities in an efficient, accurate, complete and timely manner;
- Have excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Are a driven and enthusiastic learner who’s always looking to improve and develop;
- Enjoy collaborating and working closely with teams; and
- Are committed to attaining or exceeding client expectations.
