The Opportunity:

Our client is looking for a Director Underwriter Commercial Insurance. In this role responsibilities will include employee engagement, business results and a positive relationship with both internal and external customers. Lead a team that is high performing and implementing growth within the organization.

About You:

You are an experienced insurance professional with a keen sense of high-level communication. You are looking for a challenging role and have proven success coaching and mentoring staff.

Necessary qualifications include:

  • 8 years commercial underwriting experience
  • Post Secondary and/or CIP/FCIP
  • Outstanding negotiation skills
  • Develop national operating plans while maintaining professionalism.
  • Succession planning.
  • Ability to occasional travel
