The Opportunity:

Our client is looking for a Casualty Underwriting Specialist to provide technical guidance to commercial property and casualty underwriters as well as Stakeholders.

About You:

You are an experienced casualty underwriter who has a high level of knowledge in the wholesaling, manufacturing, and contractor’s space. You demonstrate critical thinking as well as develop strong beneficial relationships with brokers. You are curious and seek out industry trends, market developments and regulatory changes. You are keen on mentoring and onboarding new staff with the companies’ philosophies.

Necessary qualifications include:

  • CIP/FCIP preferred
  • 8-10 years experience in Commercial Casualty underwriting
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office/Excel, and RTM
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills
  • Exceptional understanding of wordings, ratings, and statuary constraints
