We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our Commercial Lines Insurance Brokering Department as a Commercial Marketer.

What will you do?

  • Entry of Carrier Submissions to be sent to market
  • Securing and negotiating terms with insuring partners for new and renewal business
  • Insurer relationship development/management
  • Creating renewal and new business proposals
  • In house quoting
  • Maintenance of our insurer data base, including contacts and company appetites
  • Research and running reports on prospects
  • Assembly of proposal documents
  • Running marketing reports
  • Updating BMS with client information
  • Maintaining proposal documents

Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical knowledge of a variety of commercial insurance products
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A strong attention to detail
  • Team player
  • 1-2 years commercial insurance marketing experience.
  • RIBO license is an asset
  • Must be proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Passion for the Client
  • Experience with EPIC would be an asset
  • CIP would be an asset as would underwriting experience.
