HUB International is looking for a dynamic New Business Administrator to provide high level administrative support to the EB&R Practice in our Leamington HUB International Office.  If you enjoy working in a fast-paced corporate team environment and take pride in customer excellence, then this may be a role for you.  Superior time-management, organizational and follow-up skills are essential for this position supporting a team of Advisors in Leamington. Key Responsibilities


Administrative Duties:

  • Preparation and assembly of insurance illustrations
  • Processing new business applications
  • Ordering medical underwriting requirements
  • Following up with insurance carriers and underwriters for timely decisions
  • Prepares cover letters
  • Reads and analyzes incoming memos, submissions, and reports to determine significance and distribute as appropriate
  • Prepares and sends out outgoing mail and courier items
  • Files and retrieves corporate documents, records, and reports efficiently for all team members
  • Opens, sorts and executes all correspondence, including mail, faxes and email in a timely manner
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Post-Secondary Education preferred
  • Minimum 2 years’ administrative support experience
  • Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to learn new systems i.e. Epic broker management system
  • Strong organizational, time and client management skills
  • Effective communication skills: verbal and written
  • Strong team player
  • Proactive and customer focused approach
  • Strong initiative and follow up skills
