Our client is looking for a Casualty Underwriting Specialist! The role involves providing technical guidance to a group of commercial property and casualty underwriters, support underwriters and internal stakeholders. The successful candidate will provide trending analysis, segment profitability, market, and wording analysis, claims analysis and related support the branch AVP to guide strategy decisions.

You have a passion for underwriting and have the experience and technical knowledge to provide sound decisions and advise. You are highly analytical and curious with an aptitude for building positive interpersonal connections and delivering outstanding results to customers.
Necessary qualifications include:
- Post-secondary educations
- CIP/FCIP preferred
- 8-10 years in Commercial Casualty underwriting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite//Excel, RTM, commercial systems, and other related systems
- Elevated level of underwriting high risk factors, pricing, and product in key segments (Wholesaling/Manufacturing/Contractors)
