The Opportunity:

An energetic Commercial Broker needed to attract, retain, and build strong relationships with clients providing superior customer service. The ideal candidate is initiative-taking, proactive and client focussed. Responsibilities include, managing all aspects of sales and service in the small to mid-market commercial space.

The Employer:

Our client started from a one-person office and has grown their business to a knowledgeable team of insurance professionals. They want to provide the best insurance coverage as possible while teaching the ins and outs of insurance to their customers. They provide all types of insurance from personal to recreational vehicles to commercial and travel.

About You:

You have a cheerful outlook, outgoing personality and are great at putting the customer at ease. You are curious about insurance and stay on top of trends, industry changes, underwriting rules and workflow processes.

Necessary qualifications include:

  • Level 2 Alberta Insurance Licence
  • 2-5 years experience in personal lines insurance.
  • Completed or pursuing CAIB or CIP.
  • Build lasting relationships through networking and supporting local businesses.
  • Excellent computer skill expected and knowledge of Power Broker and Applied is an asset.
