The Opportunity:

We are in need of a Personal Lines Advisor to join a fun, modern, and vibrant brokerage located in south Calgary. Our client believes in coming together as a team and supporting each other in the office by maintaining a positive environment where coworkers support each other in insurance and in life. The successful candidate will have experience with a range of different insurance companies and prefers to take a quality over quantity approach when it comes to clients. This tight-knit team is looking to add a positive member that is excited about growing long term with a company that cares about more than just profits. 

Responsibilities:

  • Service and cross-sell existing business
  • Speak with clients and learn how to meet all of their insurance needs
  • Advise clients on the best way to optimize their insurance package
  • Generate new business (and receive commission) by networking with trusted industry contacts and clients
  • Follow up with customers to assure satisfaction, respond to queries, solicit further sales, and solve or refer problems

You focus on strong customer satisfaction to generate referrals that you can then turn into clients. Quality over quantity is your mantra.  Requirements:

  • Level 1 license; Level 2 preferred
  • Solid understanding of personal lines insurance and several company portals
  • Quick learner who is not afraid to ask questions
  • Experience with SigXP would be an asset
  • Able to build relationships with customers and coworkers alike
  • Able to convey complex information in many different forms to many different types of people
  • Work well within a small team that is growing and needs someone who can hit the ground running
