HUB International’s Personal Insurance department in our Oakville office continues to grow and we are currently looking for a strong, hands-on Account Manager.  This is an ideal role for someone who brings a strong Personal Insurance Broker background, customer focused approach, supports growth and retention and able to deliver excellent client service.

Primary Responsibilities:     

  • Manage servicing all aspects of personal insurance policies
  • Ability to provide excellent service to client inquiries in an effective and timely manner
  • Ensure new business and retention targets are met, including by means of re-marketing
  • Cross-sell and up-sell of other insurance and financial products to existing clients
  • Complete assigned tasks and request from underwriting and various carriers
  • Ability to assess risk and ensure appropriate coverages have been provided to clients
  • Resolve client concerns and issues in a professional manner

Qualifications and Experience:

  • College Diploma/University Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5+ years of personal lines broker experience or equivalent
  • RIBO Licensed
  • CIP / CAIB an asset
  • Personal service & call rotation background an asset
  • Experience with Personal Lines multiple markets and various company portals
  • Strong communication skills: written and verbal
  • Excellent problem solving skills and customer focused
  • Proficient in MS Office: Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Epic broker management system experience an asset or other systems
