Supervisor, Ontario Claims (Accidents Benefits)

SGI is currently searching for a Supervisor, Ontario Claims (Accidents Benefits) to join our leadership team.  The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day Accident Benefit claims function for Ontario auto insurance for SGI CANADA (Ontario), as well as investigate, evaluate and settle complex auto insurance claims. In this role, you will collect, review and analyze claims information to determine vehicle damage and values; interpret applicable acts, regulations and policy coverages; and negotiate claims settlements.


We are looking for candidates who have a four-year degree from an accredited post-secondary education institution in a relevant field of study such as Business.  Candidates should have at least eight years’ experience comprised of four years leadership experience and four years’ experience in adjudicating accident benefit claims including experience in supporting the development of others. Alternative combinations of relevant education and experience may also be considered.
