Job Description

Well established Insurance Broker seeking a Customer Service Specialist to join our team! You will be responsible for helping customers by providing product and service information, quotations and resolving issues.

Responsibilities:

• Handle customer inquiries, claims and policy change requests
• Assist with new Personal quotes and placing of new policies
• Provide information about the products and services we offer
• Remarket coverage for clients as needed
• Review renewals for coverage changes and upgrades
• Troubleshoot and resolve policy issues and concerns
• Document and update customer records based on interactions
• Work in close communication with insurance company underwriters
• Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services

?Qualifications:

• Previous experience in customer service, sales, or other related fields
• RIBO licence
• Prior insurance experience an asset
• Ability to build rapport with clients and insurance company underwriters
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Ability to work under supervision and as part of a team
• Familiarity with Vertafore’s SIGXP software, Applied Rating Services, Word, Excel an asset
• Comfortable with Social Media
• Positive and professional demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
