Future Amalgamation (Jan. 2023)/Salus Mutual has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, detail-orientated insurance professional experienced as a MULTI-LINE CLAIMS ADJUSTER to join our growing team!


We pride ourselves in providing exceptional customer service to our policyholders when they need it most - during their claims experience. Reporting to the Claims Manager, as a Multi-Line Claims Adjuster the ideal candidate will have experience in Bodily Injury, Liability, property (residential and commercial), as well as Auto Physical Damage claims. You will be responsible to investigate reported claims, meet with insureds, explain coverages, ensure all required documents are completed, and negotiate settlements. 


Position Requirements:

  • Professional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to multi-task and balance priorities while meeting the needs of multiple claimants
  • Sound judgement in decision making and problem solving
  • Analyze claims material presented in conjunction with clients, agents, and third parties to obtain accurate evaluations of potential losses
  • Prepare, document, and evaluate issues and exposures to facilitate effective participation in settlement meetings, mediations, and other legal proceedings
  • Minimum of 3 years of multi-line experience
  • Valid Driver’s License and own transportation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Post-Secondary education

  • Ability to embrace new technology and changing processes


Considered Assets:

  • Possessing or working towards a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation
  • File litigation experience
