Job Description
As an Account Manager, responsibilities will include:
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with new and existing clients
• Effectively communicate with customers and colleagues through telephone and written correspondence
• Engage in various account management, underwriting, and marketing exercises on an as needed basis
• Provide expert advice to clients about their home and auto insurance coverage geared to their unique needs and exposures
• Completes proactive contact with clients at each renewal to develop strong relationships
• Provides exceptional day-to-day service to clients
• Contributes to premium growth targets by cross selling other lines and upselling appropriate coverage’s
• Review and process renewals, endorsement and midterm changes
• Issuing policies and changes on various insurer online portals
• Initiating and providing guidance in the claims process to provide peace of mind to clients and assist in recovering their assets
Qualifications:
• 1-3 years insurance experience as a Personal Lines Account Manager preferred.
• Microsoft, Word, Excel, Outlook, SigXP
• Passion for client care: committed to delivering a top-notch client experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Proven interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with team members for problem-solving;
• University degree/college diploma or equivalent business experience
• Self-managing with strong analytical, organizational and time management skills
• RIBO licensed
• CIP, FCIP, or CAIB designation or working towards completion is an asset
