Commercial Lines Account Manager Extraordinaire!

(Hybrid - Only 2 days in the Brampton Office)


We are currently seeking a qualified Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our esteemed Client an independently owned Insurance Brokerage. Our client exemplifies camaraderie and positive spirit, unlike rigidity often associated with corporate settings.

  • Serving as the welcoming face that clients appreciate dealing with.
  • Managing your own portfolio of business, encompassing renewals, remarketing, and more.
  • Identifying and capitalizing on new business prospects through effective cross-selling and up-selling strategies.
  • Demonstrating expertise in underwriting, ensuring the promotion and maintenance of high-quality business.
  • Navigating insurer portals and workflow systems adeptly.
  • Cultivating strong relationships within the insurance industry network.
  • Providing valuable insurance counsel and facilitating connections between clients and appropriate solutions.

Possessing the qualifications and attitude are key to your success, here’s what you need:

  • A Registered Insurance Broker of Ontario (RIBO) License for certain.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience in the insurance industry, particularly within commercial lines.
  • Proficiency in navigating Company Portals and Broker Management Systems (BMS).
  • Meticulous attention to detail coupled with effective communication skills.
  • Familiarity with underwriting guidelines and broker workflows.
  • To be a team player who also demonstrates the capability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in prioritization and timely follow-up.
  • Strong technological acumen, particularly with Windows operating systems and Applied TAM & Compu-quote software
