Job Description

Our client is seeking an energetic and creative person to join their team as Business Development Coordinator! The ideal candidate must have strong sales or customer service background and is able to obtain General Insurance Level 1 License within 6 months of employment.

Location: Vancouver, BC

Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Support Sales Team in the development of new business while retaining and expanding existing business
  • Contribute to National Sales targets by contacting brokers to introduce and promote company’s products and overseeing a small portfolio of brokers
  • Works closely with our Sales Team to co-ordinate prospect appointments and generate potential leads
  • Handle general customer enquiries by either phone or email and act as a primary point of contact
  • Various project work as needed


  • At least 2 years’ experience in Sales or Customer Service with a good understanding of sales principles and techniques
  • Proficient in Customer Relationship Software tools and Microsoft Office
  • Level 1 General Insurance License is a strong asset or successful candidate should obtain the license within first 6 months of employment
  • Energetic, proactive individual with strong communication and time management skills
