Job Description
Our client is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic property adjuster to join their team! The ideal candidate must at least 1-2 years relevant adjusting experience and prior commercial adjusting experience is a plus.
Location: Vancouver, BC (Hybrid)
Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to:
- Provide direction and support to our members, throughout the claims process, by providing exceptional service delivered with empathy
- Adjustment of property claims of moderate to high complexity
- Establish timely and accurate loss and expense reserves through the life of the claim through evaluation of relevant information from different sources
- Maintain an effective and current diary system and document claim file activities in accordance with established procedures
- Support CAT plan as necessary, including potentially assisting on claims outside of your service area
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of insurance adjusting or equivalent experience
- Working toward CIP designation and where required, dedicated to reach the proper licensing requirements
- Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy regarding data entry
- Excellent investigative and analytical skills
- Team player with great negotiation and time management skills
