Job Description
Our client is seeking a Commercial Account Manager/Market to join their team in Surrey! The ideal candidate must have Level 2 General Insurance License and at least 5 years of Commercial Lines insurance experience.
Location: Surrey, BC (On-site/Hybrid)
Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to:
- Collaborate with team to provide extraordinary client service and aim to achieve maximum policy retention on all new and renewal business
- Ensure that all client services documents are prepared and in a timely fashion
- Review policy documents and/or quotes and identify coverage gaps and cross sell other lines of business when needed
- Market and negotiate both new and renewal business by developing and fostering excellent relationship with Insurers to ensure negotiation of best terms for clients
- Assist with developing innovative marketing solutions for tough placement risks
- Be current on new products, coverage, and market trends by attending seminars and reading relevant written material
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Commercial Lines roles
- Prior construction account experience is an asset
- Must have Level 2 General Insurance License
- Team player with strong communication and management skills
