Join our Ontario Claims team as an Intermediate Property Adjuster! In this role, you will investigate and settle personal property claims (buildings, contents, additional living expenses) and commercial property claims (buildings, stock, equipment, business interruption), including first- and third-party property damage.

We hope you will consider applying if you have:

  • Experience interpreting policy wordings for property and casualty insurance.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple claim files, investigate claims, manage customer expectations and provide empathetic customer service.
  • Knowledge of general insurance theory and the principles and practices of adjusting claims.
  • Knowledge of negligence and civil litigation, and Ontario’s property insurance legislation and regulations which govern those claims.
  • Experience with litigation files.
  • Experience with Subrogation.

Typically, these skills are gained through a two-year diploma from an accredited post-secondary education institution in a relevant field of study such as Business. Three to Five years’ experience in residential, commercial and liability claims handling.
