This role is accountable for analysing key metrics and data, including creating performance management reports to present findings with action tracking. This role will also be expected to use data and trends to identify areas of improvements within the business to support RQA and lines of business.
This position is ideal for a dedicated individual with strong analytical and loves to work with exhaustive data.

What You’ll Do:

Lead the analysis of monthly, semi-annual exception montirong reports to identify control gaps if any.

Regular feedback to the RQA leadership and Operations to report, prioritize any gaps and facilitate action plans.

Tracking issues and timely closure.

Support the development of risk performance metrics to improve controls and business operational efficiency

Responsible to conduct desk top analysis of business problems to identify the root cause.

Support ad hoc risk reports as required

This role will also support to collaborate with the Data Science team and Claims analytics team to continually automate exception reporting and possible processes.
What You’ll Bring:

An undergraduate university degree.
-
Risk certifications will be considered an asset.
-
2 year or more of relevant experience in the Property/Casualty insurance industry preferably including the area of risk management.

Prior experience of working with Data sets and trend analysis.

Working experience with Qlik will be an advantage.

Strong analytical and decision-making skills.

Knowledge of other functional areas (i.e. Claims, Finance, etc.) is an asset.

Ability to foster and build good working relationships with business areas inside and outside the business unit.
