Senior Group Retirement Service Representative (Virtual)

They are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Senior Group Retirement Service Representative to join their Employee Benefits and Retirement Practice. You’ll be working closely with Managing Consultants, Clients, and Providers. This position is remote with occasional requirements to meet with clients at their business locations.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Support Clients & Team Members: Collaborate with Managing Consultants to service a diverse book of group retirement benefits business, ensuring correct and prompt documentation for group retirement plan governance and plan sponsor support.
  • Governance Reporting: Prepare governance reporting and keep and organize client files in the management system while adhering to compliance standards.
  • Enhance Client Experience: Provides professional, courteous service to plan sponsors and fellow team members. This will include activities such as plan set-up, plan documents, coordinating onboarding/enrollment/education, coordination of plan changes, plan amendments and problem resolution. Help prepare reporting and analyze trends.
  • Drive Growth: Support the Group Retirement team in enhancing services and incorporate industry change/opportunities in the ongoing support of clients.

Qualifications and Expertise:

  • Industry Expertise: 3–5 years of experience in group retirement industry, ideally in a client supporting roles, with direct involvement in plan governance and operational service. Comprehensive understanding of group retirement plans.
  • Technical Proficiency: Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and Microsoft applications. With strong ability to work with numbers. Strong analytical skills with the ability to research and interpret data.
  • Education & Credentials: Relevant insurance designations or licenses. RPA certification and LLQP preferred or willingness to obtain.
  • Relationship-Driven Approach: Strong knowledge of major Canadian markets and relationships with record keepers and custodians. Works well in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. Ability to respond to customer needs and ask for customer feedback to improve service.
