Incorporated in 1999, and wholly-owned by the City of Toronto, Toronto Hydro Corporation operates four subsidiary companies: Toronto Hydro-Electric System Limited, the regulated electricity distribution company; Toronto Hydro Energy Services, managing electricity, natural gas and energy efficiency products; Toronto Hydro Telecom, providing fibre optic cable and services to commercial buildings; and Toronto Hydro Streetlighting.
