Pottruff & Smith Insurance Brokers Inc. is a privately owned Canadian company. Our Ontario office was incorporated in February 1974 and is licensed to provide a complete spectrum of insurance services. Our company currently enjoys a staff of over 100; working together in a fully automated yet highly personalized environment. We presently serve over 13,000 individual general insurance clients, 275 employee benefit groups, 2,700 individual life & disability clients, including eleven provincial and six national professional Associations. We conduct business through a network of fifty insurance companies, enabling us to provide an impressive variety of products to our clientele in diverse industries. In 1990 we formed Pottruff & Smith Travel Insurance Brokers Inc. This brokerage provides out of country medical insurance products, marketing assistance, sales training seminars and complete claims administration for selected retail travel agencies throughout Canada. We continually review our clients' programs and constantly strive to negotiate competitive rates and coverage. Representatives from our offices maintain a constant relationship with Association Executives and their participating membership by attending Trade Shows and conferences whenever possible and remaining active in their various trade publications and newsletters.
