TuGo is a third-party administrator (TPA) of travel insurance products and services. We develop and administer a variety of travel insurance plans for Canadian business and leisure travelers, visitors to Canada and international students studying in Canada. Our plans can be found in automobile associations, insurance brokerages, banks, credit unions, travel agencies, tour operators and airlines across Canada. TuGo has protected Canadian travelers for almost 40 years. Established in 1964 as North American Air Travel Insurance Agents Ltd., TuGo was the first company in Canada to offer Trip Cancellation / Trip Interruption Insurance, referred to then as "Missed Flight Insurance". TuGo emerged on the forefront of the travel insurance industry by being the first company to offer an Annual Emergency Excess Medical product. TuGo was also one of the first companies in Canada to sell travel insurance online.
