It is a direct writer and is licensed to sell home and auto insurance in British Columbia and Alberta and to sell home insurance in Ontario. The company also offers travel insurance. The company operates two call centres, one located in New Westminster in BC and one in Edmonton in Alberta and has a total staff complement of approximately 200. The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of HSBC Bank Canada.
