In June of 1981, Brian Kane Insurance Agencies, a small insurance brokerage, opened its doors for business. It operated from a tiny office in front of a warehouse. Its president, Brian Kane knew that the large insurance brokers could not react quickly enough to service the needs of the small to mid-sized business. Today, BKI Risk Management will be celebrating its 25th anniversary shortly with a staff of 20 employees. Tim Kane, Brian's son, came on board in 1996 and is now President.
