 HUB International has a hands-on Marketing Communications Manager role in downtown Toronto reporting to the Chief Sales Officer, CSO.  This role involves driving revenue growth through creating and executing marketing strategies that generates leads to support our sales teams across Ontario.  This role is responsible for stimulating an agile marketing environment that cultivates a test and learn mindset for constant lead generation optimization.  This is a great opportunity to provide effective sales and marketing support from a brand strategy, print and digital advertising, social media strategy, events management and content creation for sales conferences and events, generating and tracking campaigns, and content creator.  This is an ideal position for someone entrepreneurial, innovative and eager to learn our insurance business.  This role will also have a team comprised of a Sales and Marketing Coordinator and working closely with the Strategic Resources Managers. 

 You will have the opportunity to:

  • Marketing strategy development and execution, to support the overall vision and strategy of the Chief Sales Officer
  • Lead annual and quarterly planning for the marketing communications strategy including expense budget, forecasting, focusing on ROI.
  • Drive unique personalized educational experiences and events for clients and prospective clients resulting in revenue generation and customer satisfaction
  • Plan and organize the annual Producer conference with the CSO Preparing marketing material for sales teams
  • Design, develop content and manage marketing and promotional campaigns including presentation templates, print and digital advertising
  • Creating customized marketing materials for various specialty insurance practices
  • Designing and launching social media campaigns, maintain current knowledge of social media and marketing trends
  • Create, coordinate and monitor content for HUB’s social media accounts
  • Managing and communicate brand standards by ensuring all documents and media are in compliance
  • Manage and monitor the company and client websites to ensure they accurately reflect HUB’s brand
  • Responsible for analyzing regular reporting and measurement of website traffic, leads and revenue generated through marketing campaigns.
  • Manages lead generation across member segments and products offerings
  • Own and drive lead generation strategy for marketing programs and work closely with other support teams to implement strategy
  • Develops and deploys custom, tailored email and drip campaigns to targeted industry and product lines.
  • Liaise with HUB Corporate Head Office Marketing Communications department to leverage their programs and resources
  • Maintain strong knowledge of new and existing HUB issued marketing material Partner with Online Insurance Platform Vendor
  • Review and respond to RFP’s 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Post-Secondary Degree in Business Administration/Marketing
  • 5-10 years Marketing experience
  • Prior experience in sales an asset
  • Experience managing SEO/SEM database, email, social media, and advertising campaigns
  • Strong business acumen and ability to learn insurance businessqcxd1qsw
  • Strong leadership skills, ability to perform under the pressure and optimize resources to attain the business goals
  • Strong people and project management skills
  • Advanced Proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel (pivot tables, V-Lookup, graphs), PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Strong strategic planning and execution of marketing campaigns
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with large event planning i.e. sales conferences
  • Must excel in a multi-deadline, fast-paced environment; excellent organizational, prioritization skills
  • Knowledge of social media and online reputation management desired
  • Ability to be proactive, anticipatory, and handle confidential material
  • Strong relationship management skills with sales teams
  • Effective training and presentation skills
  • Strong marketing best practices i.e. brand standards and compliance
  • Ability to create customized training and sales tools
  • Strong problem solving skills, independent thinking
  • Strong drive to seek personal improvement, knowledge of marketing communications and customer experience
  • Strong attention to detail and keen focus on quality and impact
