Responsibilities:

· Managing all aspects of an existing book of business

· Ensuring new business and retention targets are met, including by means of re-marketing

· Cross-selling other personal insurance products

· New Business sales which will predominately be incoming, and cross-sell of existing

· The employee will be allowed to do outbound sales if they choose

· Respond to inbound telephone inquiries

· Respond to inbound email inquiries

· Prompt response to all customer inquiries by providing effective and efficient customer service to verbal and written inquiries

· Resolving client concerns and complaints while ensuring that service standards are met

· Managing workload through abeyances in our broker management system

 

Qualifications:

· College Diploma / University Degree / or Ample Job Experience

· Minimum 2 years’ experience in the Insurance industry

· Experience with Personal insurance service including quoting with Applied Rating Services

· General Insurance License

· Team player able to work well with staff across all departments

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills: written and verbal

· Ability to work independently

· Effective organizational skills and time management

· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Word and Excel)

· Experience with TAM or EPIC an asset
