Senior Casualty (CGL) Claims Representative - Join our dynamic and growing team!

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Casualty and BI Claims Representative to join our 100% remote team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for handling auto and commercial CGL claims.

Located in Quebec or Atlantic Canada? We would love to speak with you!

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include confirming policy coverage, maintaining detailed file records on an electronic claims system, attending and participating in mediation as a representative of the insurer, settling claims directly with injured parties and plaintiff lawyers, investigating, analyzing, evaluating, quantifying, and reporting on complex auto and non-auto bodily injury and general liability claims, and reviewing, analyzing, and interpreting insurance policy wordings to determine coverage and liability positions in response to complicated and complex claim scenarios.

As a successful candidate, you will bring a university degree, a college diploma, or the CIP designation, 5 years of casualty claims handling experience, a license in all applicable Atlantic provinces, a professional and friendly demeanor, the ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to a changing environment, strong written and verbal communication skills, and the desire to be a team player.
