Commercial Account Manager 

Our client is looking for a skilled and experienced Commercial Account Manager to join their dynamic team. This role will involve working with a large and diverse book of business, primarily focused on clients in the transportation and energy/oil and gas sectors. The team you’ll be joining includes 4-5 staff member, all dedicated to providing exceptional service to our clients.

The Opportunity

As a Commercial Account Manager, you will maintain strong business relationships with both new and existing clients, while managing and servicing a book of business. This role involves reviewing and preparing commercial client files, leading marketing efforts, and pricing the insured’s risk appropriately. You'll be a key player in ensuring our clients receive tailored solutions and top-tier support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and service a large book of business in the transportation and energy/oil and gas sectors
  • Maintain and build strong client relationships, providing professional advice and support
  • Lead marketing efforts to evaluate and price client risks
  • Work collaboratively with a team that includes Account Managers, an Account Executive, and Junior staff members

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Level 2 General Insurance License (required)
  • 2-5 years of experience in commercial insurance account management
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
  • Proficiency with windows-based computer systems
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented
