About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking a Commercial Insurance Advisor to join their Calgary team.
This role is ideal for an insurance professional who is client-focused, detail-oriented, and looking to take ownership of building and maintaining strong commercial client relationships.
What You’ll Be Doing

Provide front-line service for commercial lines clients, ensuring timely and accurate handling of policies.

Manage a portfolio of clients, focusing on retention, renewals, and account development.

Conduct needs assessments, provide coverage recommendations, and offer tailored insurance solutions.

Generate new business through referrals, outreach, and inbound opportunities.

Collaborate with underwriters and adjusters to discuss policy terms and guidelines.

Prepare documentation, issue certificates, and process changes as needed.

Stay current with underwriting rules, workflows, and industry practices.

Participate in training, professional development, and community marketing initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience in commercial insurance (an asset, but not mandatory)

Valid Alberta General Insurance License (Level I or II)

Strong communication and customer service skills
-
Organized, analytical, and able to manage multiple priorities

Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with EPIC is an asset

Sales experience and ability to identify new business opportunities is an advantage
