We are seeking a claims adjuster with experience in personal auto and commercial insurance to lead a team of 8 to 10 employees. Our client is a major player in property and casualty insurance, serving both individuals and businesses. Currently expanding, they need insurance professionals like you to join their dynamic team at their offices in Lévis, La Prairie, St-Georges-de-Beauce, Thetford Mines, Plessisville, Sainte-Marie, and Waterloo.
What we offer:
Permanent position.
A starting base salary of $78,000 and up, negotiable based on experience.
An annual bonus of up to 10% based on company performance.

Full-time schedule of 35 hours per week.
Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

What you bring:
Implements strategies and action plans to achieve departmental objectives, ensuring activity monitoring and accountability.
Oversees complex cases, monitors claims-related IT systems, and collaborates with experts to improve decision-making.
Informs management and reinsurers of significant claims and collaborates with internal resources for contract interpretation.
Conducts individual coaching sessions, performance reviews, and ensures compliance with policies and procedures.
Evaluates the quality of service to insured parties through audits, call monitoring, and survey analysis, while implementing corrective actions.
Analyzes incoming complaints, ensures their processing in collaboration with management and the compliance department, and follows up on cases.
Establishes schedules, assigns cases according to skills, and ensures continuity of service in case of absence or departure.
Participates in the recruitment, onboarding, training, performance evaluation, and team motivation.
Leads team meetings, shares objectives and project updates, and fosters a collaborative environment.
Maintains harmonious relationships with other departments and ensures the flow of information necessary for their activities.
Participates in public events to promote a positive image of the company and strengthen public relations.
Available to travel to the St-Nicolas and La Prairie offices once a month.
Who are you?
You have a valid claims adjuster license (required).
Have 5 years of experience as a personal auto and commercial claims adjuster.
Have 2 years of team management experience.
You have a reliable home internet connection to ensure your voice is heard.
Bilingualism (French/English) is required.
