Our client is a major player in property and casualty insurance, serving both individuals and businesses. Experiencing rapid growth, they need insurance professionals like you to join a dynamic team in their offices located in La Prairie, Waterloo, Thetford Mines, Plessisville, Lévis, and St-Georges de Beauce.
As a Personal Lines Underwriter, you will work in a comfortable call center environment. You understand the importance of being the first point of contact when needed. You take pride in providing helpful advice and solutions to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
What we offer:
Permanent position
A starting base salary of $68,000 and up, negotiable based on experience
Bilingualism bonus and bonus for working evenings or Saturdays
An annual bonus of 6% or more based on performance
Work-life balance
Full-time schedule of 35 hours per week. Monday to Friday, daytime hours. Work one evening per week until 7:30 p.m. and one Saturday on a rotating 8-week schedule.
Benefits fully paid by the employer (life insurance, prescription drug coverage, salary, disability, dental) starting day 1, depending on your experience.
Defined benefit pension plan with a 7% employer contribution after 3 months.

What you bring:
You will be responsible for evaluating and underwriting auto and home insurance applications, adhering to underwriting and pricing policies.
Process new policies, renewals, and amendments.
Contribute to various ongoing projects.
Develop insurance solutions and present them clearly.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of personal lines insurance underwriting.
Who are you?
You are bilingual in French and English.
You have at least 3 years of experience in personal lines insurance underwriting.
You have a reliable internet connection at home to ensure your voice can be heard. You learn quickly, have strong analytical skills, and are self-motivated.
