As a Claims Adjuster in the Auto Claims Department, you will be responsible for assessing, negotiating, and settling claims over the phone. You will handle losses related to your level of authority and report to clients, while also directing field adjusters and legal counsel as needed. Our client is an independent Canadian claims adjusting company, in business for over 80 years, located in the Greater Montreal area.
What we offer:
• Permanent position.
• A base salary of $51,000 to $77,000 per year, negotiable based on experience.
• An annual bonus of up to $10,000 based on performance.
• Work-life balance.
• Flexible 40-hour work week. Monday to Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.

• DPSP pension plan with employer contribution starting at 5% of your base salary or more.

What you bring:
• Conduct investigations, collect and analyze claim information
• Assess insurance coverage, liability, and the amount of compensation to be paid
• Negotiate, settle, and finalize claims
• Provide excellent customer service and work collaboratively with your team members
Who are you?
• Hold your Personal and Commercial Claims Adjuster certification
• Have at least 2 years of experience as an auto claims adjuster
• Bilingual in French and English
